Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

How much are they really saving?

From offshoring to Manila, Buenos Aires and Bengaluru? Doesn't Chevron waste tens of billions of dollars in upstream exploration projects? Isn't that a executive failure that MCP projects go over budget and delays? Why does the axe fall on low level worker bees just to save several 100 million dollars when they waste tens of billions?

The cost for Chevron to contract a MSP is 60% of the cost of US employees. The cost to use Chevron employees in low cost countries, India, Philippines, Argentina is 30% is US employees. The savings is substantial and the Executives get big bonuses to implement the idea. It’s good to be the king

Gotta raise that LTIP. Same people making these decisions and benefitting from LTIP are the ones that develop LTIP criteria. The rich get richer and everyone else is told to eat cake.
