Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Couldn't Have Provided Us with LAYOFF Information of a LESS PUBLIC FORUM?

Wow... so much better job searching today vs the last few months now that the ENTIRE WORLD knows Chevron is setting up for a massive layoff! Every recruiter, job owner and even your neighbors are now fully aware of our predicament (and asking about it). Welp, the advange of getting a head-start on job hunting was just watered down with less leverage this week going forward. Can't even imagine how much worse it's gonna get once the market is flooded in May/June?!? Thanks MW, MN, EB and company... you're a bunch of fu--ing di-kheads!

The information is ‘material’ to the market so it is required to be shared publicly.

@ad+1, your logic is flawed. There are PLENTY of people "good at what they do" in an increasingly shrinking market. It's musical chairs with fewer and fewer chairs.

There would have been and will be no difference in effects regardless of the type of forum. The news would have spread quickly just the same. Please buy yourself a clue, seriously. If you're that clueless in 2025 you'll never find another job.
