@1rq+1jm3436q3 … what?!? Can’t tell if you’re serious or some troll trying to make a joke.

To your point Denver is huge. Not as big as DFW area obviously but dude most Denver associates do not live in Denver, they live in the cheaper surrounding areas and commute via car, light rail train or bus.

I looked at moving to Frisco and surrounding areas and it would be more expensive for the same house/land size and upkeep plus homeowners insurance and property taxes. Those property taxes are around 4 times the amount many pay outside of Denver. Taxes in Denver are actually a tiny bit cheaper than Charlotte metro.

Lack of income taxes isn’t more than just a wash for most people. Also most homeowners in Denver would be renting in Frisco for two reasons, cost and the fear of being let go within the year or two as what happened when Denver and Charlotte opened and folks were moved from NY and let go shortly after.

Dallas is huge, you don't have to live in Frisco. Dallas has beautiful suburbs just like Denver...the cost of living is cheaper than Denver, while Texas has property taxes...Texas does not have state taxes...it evens out in the wash...

Anyone complaining about TIAA bonuses is in for a rude awakening when they leave and work for a real business outside of the clutches of academia and a board that does little more than lick the windows at HQ

Say what you want about TIAA. But the bonuses here are way better than what other companies offer. As is the PTO and other benefits like RA…

Someone I know said they didn’t offer them enough in relocation but whatever the amount was, they said it was pretty high. Just Frisco is too expensive with crazy high property taxes, plus they didn’t like the political landscape there. They said it will be really hard to leave for the bonus and other benefits here but feels like it is time for them to move on.

I got a high three (4 production, but my “how” subjective how score was a 3). My manager assured me my bonus pay will be like a 4… but then i talked to someone else who was a full 4, and got payed like a high 3. so we both got paid them same.
TIAA greater goodzzzz!

Review was fabricated to sl--t in a negative direction and when I disagreed it was simply ignored. Ethics, integrity? Not a TIAA value any longer

@w2+1jm3436q3 The percentage is not 100% of your base salary...it is based on your variable comp percentage...for example...if your variable comp is 30% and the bonus was say 20k at 30%..you get 120% instead of 30%, your bonus at 120% is 24k...

Over 100% bonus? Which departments are you working in? I can assure you in IT a good bonus is 20%.

Love how the EC/ELC thinks $100K is a lot of money and not enough for a raise for the last 3 years.. know a lot of folks making over 100K still living paycheck to paycheck. Maybe more like $150-$200K and above should have been the cutoff including all of the EC and senior management up to the tippy top.

Everyone should have been given a 3% raise each of the last 3 years simply for COL, (not gonna talk about inflation) especially for the 3 day office minimum.

they said in the ask the EC call a few weeks ago that if you make over 100 you won’t get a raise if you make below 100 you will get a raise so if you’re making over 100 and not getting a raise, you shouldn’t be surprised

No raise, but at least I got the best ever bonus at this company (which isn’t much compared to some others I’ve heard) and just in time to be laid off… Florida isn’t great but one wants to move to Frisco, TX.

This isn’t that kind of forum to get answers. Just use common sense with our formulas to calculate it.

My guess 127% they are probably a high 3. At least based on my past experiences. Could be a low 4 tho would su-k as some high 3s get more than low 4s.

To the person who got 127% of target VC…what was your rating?

2% raise and 127% of target VC. The raise was not expected b/c I moved into my role Q3 and got a 20% bump at that time.
