Anyone know what's really happening here? Are Claims letters being written by AI? Is Zulfi lying? Is he losing it? Is he even fit for the job?

I’m sure the executive team is fuming over the title of the WSJ article, “ Turns Out AI Is More Empathetic Than Allstate’s Insurance Reps”. Bad press all around for Allstate, and there is no way to spin it.

AI is great for ensuring manually written communications contain a consistent, customer centric tone and verbiage. Insurance jargon and acronyms plague all insurance companies from a frontline perspective. AI is the future and will be a game changer; get on board or be a dinosaur. I’ll also throw out - don’t fear monger the use of AI; it’s not that jobs will be lost but the changing of what those jobs do.
Oooooohhh….love that Allstate transparency! Better send out another survey!
I use AI to write most of my emails these days - wouldn’t use it for claims emails but wouldn’t shock me.
