I’m so sorry. I’ve worked with Deloitte before and nothing good to say. I’ve worked as a contingent worker before and can say I was definitely no longer part of the team. Left out of critical meetings because I was outside, key systems were unavailable or limited. It made doing things difficult. If I’m put under a contracting firm I will most likely decline. I think you can still try to fight for unemployment in certain states if the job the contractor is offering is not equivalent in pay or duties.

One good aspect of working for Deloitte is they have a corporate rap tune that looks pretty rad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9wz3yf0OX8

Did you get any PTO to carry over? Are you starting from a zero balance?

Pay at 100% of the contract rate/allowed amount not the billed amount. Big difference….

I know about the either use or if in the right state get paid out for PTO when you are riffed- what happens when you rebadge? It sounds like OP got a check? Curious about PTO when rebadged. Thanks!

Anthem su-ks. I'm about ready to take them to court over pennies on the dollar payment on surgeries. I met my deductible. Should pay at 100%. Yet they paid $427 on a 16K surgery. Not even close to a normal and standard payment. So they will end up paying more in the long run for the legal bills when I win. And I will win.

I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine being FTE for EV one day and contract EE the next.
Heartless.

When you are RIf'd, unless the state you live in has a law you have to take all your PTO before your last day... or you loose it. Glad you got a payout.

Sounds like they were given a check to payout the PTO they had on the books with Elevance.
