As the title says, I am wondering if anyone has any insight on whether horizon's members are just as likely to be approved for EOI. Generally, horizons employees are thought to be trainable minds that will help shape the company's future. That thought process leads me to be believe Horizon's members would be less likely to be approved. Any thoughts?

The horizon is bleak here. Seek a new world and broader horizon.
EOI estimate is on workday. It is 2 weeks of pay per each year of service with a 1 year cap. Basically if you are horizons, you are not going to get very much since you have only a couple years.
If you are considering leaving just do it, find another opportunity that will pick you up! Should be easier for earlier career and IT
If you’re Horizons your payout is no more than 10 weeks. For 2 months of pay, it’s not worth the risk of not being able to find a new job. Stay on at Chevron if you can and job hunt until you find something better.
It’s probably pretty decent odds but never guaranteed. If you are outside of Houston and not willing to move to Houston, I think your odds are higher that EOI would get accepted.
Also, not sure but the rumor around is that horizon is safe from the re org and that is not true. We are allll included.
theres layoffs everywhere...
I recommend horizons eoi. Find something better and leave while you can
definitely putting my hat in for EOI down the line.
What's the point in taking EOI as a horizons employee? The payout is diminutive.
Coast in the day job and milk it. Chase that next role while you still have the cushion of a Chevron salary
As a fellow horizons, also hoping for approved EOI here!
If you have EOI it’s listed in workday under compensation.
In 2020, we had some Horizons people who took the EOI and used the money to finish up the MBAs they were working on. It's precedented.
Young people, don't hang around this dinosaur company. Go join some tech companies. Don't waste your career for a pittance.
I don't think you would get much anyway being horizon.. why bother .. find a better stable high paying job if you can
