Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Offshoring jobs to India

Lost in all the articles and discussion on LinkedIn is the fact that Chevron is opening their new India office. Clearly the layoffs are offshoring. Those jobs are moving to India. Just like ExxonMobil has already done and continues to do. Look on LinkedIn and the Exxon job website. Plenty of jobs in India but they have all but stopped recruiting in the USA and other “high cost” countries like Canada, Europe, and Australia.

Billion-dollar corporations paying off DJT can do whatever they want. The average citizen is the one who will get sc--wed. The GOP is proposing $4.5 trillion in tax cuts for the ultra rich and big corporations and $2 trillion in cuts to programs that help the average citizen. This will also increase the debt by $4 trillion.
