Accelerated Expression of Interest Window

The S.E.T.H. slide on the coordinated selections stated in February there would be an "accelerated expression of interest window". If I'm taking that phrase at face value it sounds like if you express interested in leaving they'll have an accelerated process to send you on your way. Not keep you waiting around. Is this how everyone else is interpreting it?

AEOI window will be from Feb. 28th-March 10th.
If you submit an AEOI you should see a response the week of March 24. For AEOIs that are approved, you will receive information on your last day on payroll, which could be as early as the week of April 21.
I have more, but I'll let the snowflakes wait for their official communication.
Also, incase you were wondering, AEOI will be made available to US employees ONLY.

Accelerated EOI will mean you leave early If the business need for you justifies that’s possible. Some people may not want to go through the stress of a round of layoffs. Others have been looking for a new job and holding out for EOI. Many want to retire. There are benefits either way depending on your situation. No matter what, they can say no or make you stick around to transition.

It’ll mean leave early too. Less pay and less stress on all the paper work and chaos.

You guys are fu--ing d-mb. It just means that you nominate early so they know who wants to be punted.

If you know 100% that you want to go, you put your hand up early. If they get enough of them then maybe they don't need the next step (unlikely).

Accelerated EOI doesn't mean Accelerated leave. It's simply to make the selection much faster and easier, which is a favor to the company and folks who want to stay.

What’s the point in taking accelerated eoi if there is the same package if you wait? Seems better to stay on the payroll until the last opportunity

Hopefully, there are those who don’t want to hang around any longer than necessary.

yes, that is what I understood. They stated this would make room for positions that need to be filled in June selection process and the PDC. They emphasized the severance will be the same for every round of EOI / layoffs.
