Their GL’s do literal nothing other than graphic design and cause their own HR issues.

I don't work in the ROC, but they do a fine and important job! I think for some reason there is much animosity between those that NEED to be in the FAB and those who CAN work in the office or remotely. I don't get this mentality at all. If a tech wants a job outside the FAB, apply for one FF$!
Without the ROC, Tools and lots would just sit doing a whole lot of nothing while no one else did anyting about it. Learn something new for a change.

Are they conducting a internal poll? Does Intel conduct internal surveys every year like other companies? Opinions or wishes are a pipe dream. The decision is Pat’s and what the spreadsheet tells him. May be what the consulting firm tells Pat.
