I heard some rumors of layoff stemming from merging gaming and client. But are not they already the same BU?
Any news of layoffs? The reason I ask is I might have a chance to switch to datacenter, and wondering if switching make sense? I like my job currently.

Yes! Great move! Switch to the Datacenter team, which AMD has not and will not touch because it's the on giant salvage balloon keeping the place from sinking.

All internal and external reqs frozen - no chance of changing group. I was in talks with another group - I am being told to stay put and keep quiet for now.
