What a horrid take, telling everyone that 15-20% will be reduced and the hot topic is DEI? Get over yourselves and get off your high horses. Good Lord.

My understanding from the presentation is, positions will be eliminated June timeframe and the people that are currently in those positions will then go into the PDC to see if they can find a new position in the PDC. Then there will a second round of layoffs in October. The people in the first round will NOT be impacted in the 2nd round of layoffs. But I may have misunderstood the PDC part.
If the first most popular question was about DEI and employee networks from the employees, then we need to cut >>> 20%
DEI is alive and well at Chevron, just look at the visible diversity on the stage today.
So I’m confused, is PDC happening are we being cut and still having to repair jobs once all those others are gone???
Then ask questions about ENGINE.
Everyone knew the reductions would be ~20% so that was not shocking for most people unless you are living under a rock.
Lot of employees were interested in the DEI topic even "on both sides".
Not a single mention of ENGINE in the first hour.
