I wish they would just tell us what they are doing and what part of the company was affected. The words gets out quickly anyways. The fact that they do not just announce it to us after the RIF spreads fear and doubt.

What gets me is that they immediately opened up over time after laying off people. So clearly the employees were needed. Makes me sick to see how horrible the company is treating people. I'm hoping to hang on until my house sells. After that I'll be okay regardless of what happens.

They must know what they’re doing. Large companies rarely suffer as a result of laying off good employees. And they don’t do it unless they know it’s a profitable move. Not defending them. Just stating facts.

The human beings who work and consume products in this country have no power. Taking it back is going to involve more than complaining on an anonymous website.

I hope everyone who’s laid off this round gets a new job quickly or is otherwise OK.

“Short-term profit” is the key phrase here. It reeks of desperation and short-sightedness. It may look good on paper now but what will happen at the end of 2025 if these decisions aren’t generating money?

Massive amount of brilliant talent employees let go in this layoff. Frontline people that cared for customers and the company. Nationwide invested a great amount funding over last 20 years bringing great talent and just through it down the drain. For short term profit at expense of customers and ultimately the company itself. Such a shame with leadership at Nationwide.

The number of affected layoff was over 100. It's not stopping either. More massive layoff coming. NATIONWIDE is outsourcing to foreign countries for massive profits. Service at all time low as customers have hour long wait to speak to anyone. Customers being hung up on by automated system. India outsourcing taking calls. Nationwide nolonger company thar protects its customers.

Supervisors as well and other departments lead specialist and retention Nationwide Insurance customer service tanks. Ever try to call Nationwide no one able to answer. Automated system just hangs up. Mark Brevin just ruined imagine of company
