This company and the stock are a dog and will never recover. GEO is loosing against LEO and those little government contracts will do nothing to improve the bottomline.
Perhaps Viasat will end up like Iridium where the government will pay them some basic fee to keep them going.
Wish I would have sold my RSUs when they were at least $30. Now they are pretty much worthless and down 90%. I can sell them for a months worth of gas for my car. :(
Starlink is winning. Soon Kuiper will be competing. It's a lucrative retirement hobby for MD. It's smart to get out.
Funny how the merger was supposed to increase shareholder value, yet all the Inmarsat consortium shareholders (ie shark like pe and pension funds do) is dump a bunch of shares on the market just as the stock is having a trend reversal. They did it at $20 in August and now $11 in February. They must have short positions in the form of shorted shares and outs and exceptúe these huge coordinated sales to make money on that side.
It's ironic how stocks and stock options are supposed to provide an incentive for executives to work for increased share value when in actuality they just give themselves a sh*t load no matter how the company does. Our system is broken. We need shareholder activism.
People are standing in line to dump it.
Viasat is a horrible internet service
CM did a lousy job at the investor conference a few months ago.
Existing institutions want out. They've had enough and are crying uncle, they no longer are buying what MD is selling. Frankly I want out, can't take the investment pain management is actively inflicting upon us.

Like my father always told me... buy high, sell low!
Can't imagine why the Inmarsat consortium want to sell shares at these levels when they received shares as part of the acquisition when they were valued around $40!
And they have board seats as well....
- prehaps they are upset Guru was told to leave and no other execs are capable of taking good selfies.
More planned sales from the Inmarsat private equity consortium. Cashing out after the acquisition. SEC forms posted yesterday to disclose that
Remember MD says it’s not the stock price we should look for as indicators it’s the trading volume facepalm
