After what's happened this past week, the CEO seem to me like a snake. He's bringing in his friends from HPE and Intel. Both of these companies have been dragged down in the past few years by management and now those managers are coming to manage Nokia. Like that lady who only has one year of AI experience and according to her linkedin post is a former ex-Intel vp (must have lost her job in Aug'25 - who cares if she was the last one to commit some code in a repository.) She's not VP quality in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if the share price dropped under $4 with their failing management style.
If they can't get AT&T and Verizon back as Wireless customers which was bringing in Billions in revenues, they ALL will have failed and need to pack up. It's just too bad, Nokia is going to be spending Millions paying them on the failed job they are going to be doing. I don't have any hope for this "buddy" management group to Make Nokia Great Again!

@1t0 So far, it seems the shareholders aren't all that happy with his performance. Doesn't seem like CEO quality.

@OP Is nepotism being practiced by the CEO as we continuously see more hiring from former HPE employees (where he once used to work)?

https://www.newsweek.com/h1b-visa-immigrants-tech-jobs-impact-college-grads-2106392
"The H-1B has exploded in the past few decades. Around 400,000 visas were approved in 2024, more than twice the number issued in 2000, with the majority of these being renewals of existing visas, rather than new applications. Most of these foreign workers are employed by large tech companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, who pay to keep hold of foreign-born workers."

Teams working on the same project or release in different countries are HOARDING information and knowledge, by using their own countries dialect (language) in Word documents, Power Point Slides, recorded training with transcript purposely turned OFF. For example, if the detailed design documents, power point slides, training or knowledge sharing detailed sessions are in Chinese, then the guy in Poland who needs the information to solve a customer issue (for mobile networks - like system reset or trying to understand the details of a Physical Layer 1 algorithm) by listening to the knowledge sharing recording, won't be able to solve the issue quickly because it's recorded in Chinese instead of ENGLISH. Why are so many lower level detail training and knowledge sharing, design documents, architecture documents, testing documents, etc. done in the local country dialect instead of English. Why are so many Nokia teams HOARDING information instead of working as ONE company to solve customer issues quickly to retain or gain more customer revenue? Why isn't the detailed information available in English? Why are recorded transcripts turned off on purpose? If you are worried about job security, well, there won't be a job if there aren't any customers left. So please F*** use English!!!!

Before Intel he was at HPE and he did some actual work there. So at this point, he could be a capable CEO, but it's also his first time as CEO, so he could be really bad as well.

Intel stock bumped up because VP Vance supports AI chips manufactured in US - not because of his departure
