@fp+1jknjcd95, Nailed it. USAA Ain't special anymore. Its all about bottom line, head counts. Headcounts can be cut anytime and How much raise & bonus will EMGs & C-suites will receive due to cost/employees cutting.
Remember now, we all are liabilities now not asset to USAA
After working for 20+ years, I am really missing Gen. Mcdermott & Joe Robles who made this company great.
Yeah it's a lot of people in the PNC side in project management and related. Laying off people in the middle of a bunch of new efforts rolling out is wild to me. A lot of really good hard-working people are being cast aside in the middle of all their work, after busting their butts.. Zero loyalty from this company now.
I'm sure the executive pay will also be minimized next time around...... it's all part of their plan to chase out 10-year, and move more stuff to 3p, that's how they save money. It's not a conspiracy, it's just obvious cost cutting. USAA is no longer a special employer like it was many years ago.
