Agree. We need design teams to compete with each others with choices that includes pre and post silicon validation. The design teams which PRQ silicon on time, cost efficiency, reusable methodologies should be rewarded.
They should target majority of iVE. Not sure whether they do anything with endless steppings and excuses. I would prefer to dismantle iVE and move the resources to design organization. The SoC design team should do end to end validation so they should compete with other SoC design for efficiency. The best SoC teams should be rewarded.
