They should look like competent technology leaders who want to do the best for the company. Who cares what they’re packing between the legs or what color their skin is. I couldn’t care less if a leader looks like me or not. I care about constant layoffs because they’re incompetent at their job.
Since AG is probably not gunna land a job…
LC and the IT leaders are pretty much no DEI. Is this a problem that half of the function is Asian and the CIO and GM are all white dudes? They should don’t look like the people they manage
Good . This is an oil company. Sorry
How do you know whether someone was a DEI hire? Or do you just assume anyone not a white male was DEI?
Would you prefer an airplane pilot that was top of his class or one that was accepted due to a DEI quota?

I've been in charge of 3 hiring's in the last 2 years, and what we are forced to do is ridiculous.
Lets stop this DEI nonsense.
Is chevron going to use this administration as a blanket hall pass to actively discriminate against women and minorities within the company during this layoff? With the hate people spew on this website and all the hate within this country recently, I worry it's going to be open season on anyone that isn't a white male below 40. Just because someone is apart of an underrepresented group does not mean they're a DEI hire.
