What is a typical severance package (weeks per years of service) for Canada and USA

@fg I personally would love the butt plug but only if inserted by RM and with 90 wt pre-lube applied by MW. Also I prefer mine to be inserted sideways so that it doesn't fly out explosively right after the Taco Tuesday lunch buffet.
"the legal minimum in some business units"??? what does that even mean, clownsack? do you think each BU is an independent legal jurisdiction that is bound by some imaginary law outside of the company that applies to no other BUs? That's a preposterous delusion. The company will not miss people like you.
Well, hopefully they offer more than two weeks per year severance as part of any EOI program, given that two weeks a year is the legal minimum in some business units. Can’t see too many people in ABU jumping on an offer to receive the legal minimum, unless they’re desperate to get out or having something else lined up.
If they post the new org structure before the EOI is offered then they may get more EOI applications because once people see the number of job positions that are cut there will be less optimism about getting a job position in the musical chair dance.
Curious question not sarcastic……. You think there will be an unusually high number of EOI takers?
2020 was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that will not be seen again. 2020 was different, MW/JG wanted to get rid of all the Boomers without any age discrimination lawsuits, so they made them an offer they couldn't (and didn't) refuse. No need this time, given all the people who want to EOI regardless of age. Standard offer is 2 wks/year service capped at 52 wks pay, and 6 months of some sort of medical insurance subsidy. That's it, don't expect anything more and don't fantasize that you can negotiate something better.
Nobody wants the butt plug?
do an internal search for 2025 severance. its in black and white
One of the best shows on TV - we can watch it when we're severed 😂
For me it's a Butt Plug, an-l Fill up with TEchron, and Extra lube except the Butt Plug blows out after a few days and I have a mess to clean up.
In the US there is no legal obligation to offer any severance so they could opt to set it to just about anything.
@a7+ is correct. The standard package is 2wks/yr. While the 2020 enhanced severance package was 3wks/yr, they still capped it at 52 weeks pay max. Having said that, they did extend their payments for medical premiums from 6mo to 12 months.
Typical is 2 weeks for every year of service, up to 52 weeks of salary. In 2020 they increased it to 3 weeks for every year, but I doubt we'll see that again.
