Is this a sign of things to come?

Just felt it in my gut when I went to file taxes and saw that 0 for profit sharing
Just wait until you see what happens to your profit sharing money when they lay you off. That also gets snatched back.
They never “gave you” the stock - it was a conditional award based on company performance and it shouldn’t have surprised anyone that we didn’t get it given nearly 2 years of layoffs and bad quarters. The Sirius employee grants you mention were also conditional - you had to be an employee of good standing on the vest date and you got them.
I'm in shock! I can't believe CDW would take back the stock they gave us. It wasn't a lot of shares to begin with, but nonetheless, you don't renege on those shares you gave Sirius after being in our account for three years. I'm not even sure it's legal with what CDW did. Pathetic and a total mistrust in the leadership.
"Pathetic.. You cannot trust this leadership at all."
You can't trust leaderhit at ANY publicly traded company! Not just Seedy W.
"Is this a sign of things to come?"
No, this is a sign of what's already here. It's been here for a few years. It's name is Leahy.
It was pretty clear about 18 months ago this was not going to be paid out.
Leadership made multiple missteps along the way and cost all of us thousands of dollars. It was clear the Sirius integration was ineffective and we weren't taking full advantage of the new capabilities and expertise they added to an already strong organization. The de-emphasis of a core strength, hardware sales to a complete range of markets, caused 8 consecutive quarters of declining growth.
The large-scale, across the board layoffs with limited thought as to how to address the loss of CDW expertise and customer experience caused many departments to be rudderless and leaderless. Even those cost cuts were unable to mitigate the loss of sales revenue to at least deliver margin growth.
There are so many other issues and it's well past time for leadership to take a long look at itself and admit it's the problem. How about some accountability at the very top?
They should not have had it visible in our account for three years. Add it once they confirmed they would grant it. To the people laid off previously, you did not miss out on this one because no one is getting it.
It was a laughable amount
The last poster is trying to justify their actions through an insensitive explanation. I agree that most of what is written on the last post is true but very insensitive and unfair. More to come on the last month of the second quarter or early third quarter of the year, not March or April. They moved that large layoff back slightly. Since our posts are turning sour again, remember from the posts that we should not use our CDW assigned lap tops or cell phones or any device on our work Wifi to access or post on this site. One guy is still tracking who is doing that and reporting what he sees to our general counsel lead. One of my friends who works with the tracker said their Safety - Security Vice President left the company soon after some postings exposed him on this site. My friend says the General Counsel attorney is now managing that group so he has unencumbered access to anything he wants done. They were reporting to HR but he took over safety and security and according to my friend there, they don't like it. There goes any checks and balances on our privacy. So now more than ever, do not access this site at work or from your work device. I don't want to see any of us get laid off over this sht.
I hate missing out on money as much as the next person.
However - These were conditional and we were told the conditions.
The company did not hit the numbers needed to trigger the pay out... and therefore we did not get the payout. And by the way, this is at all levels... even the EC did / does not get paid.
Imagine if we barely DID hit the numbers and they said "sorry, things are tight we will not pay you." Of course that would never happen and we would riot if it did. But somehow we expect the company to say "Even though we missed the numbers we will pay you anyway". How does that make sense? If we have a goal to hit to earn something and we miss the goal, we did not earn that something. Feel free to keep complaining about stuff on this site or anywhere else but lets think through what exactly we are complaining about.
I think we all knew this wasn't coming. March/April is going to be fireworks
No, you lost your options. Sorry. Nobody is making any $$ . We don’t get our leader bonuses either, 6 quarters. We are starting to have to dodge creditor calls. But EC is getting theirs.
I am sure Chris Leahy's options were not forfeited. They never intended to pay out the options. Another after 7 PM corporate email as well.
Pathetic.. You cannot trust this leadership at all.
