Insurance too. The pay is lower, but it promises to be less stressful and more predictable. I just hope I won't be disappointed and find that it's not as advertised. I'm mid-career now, and I really don't want to deal with health insurance ever again, not even as a client, if I can help it. Good luck to all of you looking for a way out. Just be persistent and don’t have high expectations. Try to figure out what’s important to you, and go with it.

Please share what industry you ended up in. There are lots of people on here looking to pivot and that would be helpful.
OP, please provide an update on this site in a few months into your new position and let us know if all companies are as bad as this one now? I suspect not....
You probably have about 15 - 20 years remaining until retirement. Take it. The healthcare industry is only going to get worse.
That is interesting. Did you apply for the jobs directly or did you change your posted resume to be more generic and recruiters contacted you about positions from the job sites?
How did you go about finding a job unrelated to the industry? I am a Manager and a Nurse that would love to be out of the healthcare business all together.
