Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Carolina On My Mind

Noting could be finer than to sell in North Carolina…..Both in consumer and
biz field sales, Kinetic’s heartbeat remains in North Carolina!

The Carolinas ILEC team continues to amaze. Feels like most their team won President’s Club. Way to lead the way for everyone else!!

Looking at the sales numbers, I am not sure that being the “heartbeat of Kinetic sales” is anything to be proud of. If so, it is probably about time for a transplant.

Those things pale in comparison to Carolina’s CLEC teams. They moved accounts from one legacy network to the next faster than WIN announced rate hikes. Got paid full revenue amounts each time. Like most things listed here, they happened everywhere. Dumpster fire for sure.

I saw first hand the lack of integrity and fraud that occurs by the Carolina team. They would sell a service to a customer that should have been a MAC of the existing service and tell the customer to call in and cancel the existing service after the new circuit was installed so they can get full credit then vanish and leave the customer with double billing and having to fight with care for credits. NC = Fraud at its finest. No wonder the company is a dumpster fire. No ethics by most.

They gotta at least try to compete with TeamGeorgia and their fraud to stay somewhat relevant.

The Carolinas are the finest group of sales professionals who all understand true sales processes, from prospecting to closing. I miss my NC team, and Leader. There is nothing better than taking an inbound lead from a $15/hr phone answerer, making that lead a service location under a false opp, and gaining business that belongs to another rep. I wish I still worked in this great environment of sell at all Costs. I loved the lack of leadership oversight. That was the best thing about Windstream, being able to sell however I want as long as it's closed.

Guard rails changed with Governance during Q3/Q4 of 2024. As a result, It’s the Wild Wild West here now. Sell anywhere. Sell everywhere. Just sell. The Carolinas team is able to capitalize on the current company environment and maximize internal relationships.

If no rules exist, are rules being broken?
