I have been with the company 30 years and hold a position of some prestige. I have it on very high authority that mass separations based on this years forced rankings will happen by 2/14.

You’re an id--t. Those that got let go in August a few years ago all got the AICP the following March, prorated
It won't be on the 14th. PRs are all due that day and we're being told there is no slipping on that deadline. Once the 14th occurs, we'll go through the numbers and then select separations which will occur by March 14-March 31. This to get done before the AICP is paid. The company has a policy if you are let go before the payment date, then they won't give it to you (check in the section called special circumstances in the AICP link they sent).

If I had a dime for every time someone posted ont his website layoffs are on such and such a date.
Microsoft did something similar. No severance at MS, but Ford may allow severance, if you sign an agreement not to sue.
Prestige....there's your problem right there. You associate a position at Ford or at any company with "Prestige". Sounds like you have some long standing issues to unpack. Being 30 years into your career, it's unlikely they will be resolved. Good luck to you.
I am the Emperor of Ford and I have heard that there will be layoffs on February 14th. True story! Corn Pop told me.

Unfortunately I believe he is right. Just had a person let go in my group based on being essentially lowest PR rating. Won’t be a standard layoff. But will be around the performance reviews being done over the next week. No dedicated day.
