Hearing about layoffs in PnC effective today. I got reassigned but am staying around. So they are happening late in the week too.
Shoot, I loved CB. He was so knowledgeable and responsive
Directors with a handful of team members are hard to justify.
All those AVPs had less than 40 people. One had about 25. That’s a questionable ratio.
Who were the AVPs?
Why clear house of the three AVPs instead of just changing their responsibilities? Seems like a huge waste of institutional knowledge
Does anyone have any actual knowledge of what areas will be hit next and when that might occur? Or is it just speculation on the areas to be impacted?
I was laid off on a Thursday, along with my whole team, so layoffs can later in the week.
Anyone know how many employee were impacted?
Yeah for this week, financial crimes and rcsa next is the chatter.
How many total were let go? I’m in BI and I heard the rumors so I’m curious total count so far.
So we are a data driven bank? Gtfo. This place is such a joke. I’m so tired of pretending I work for something other than money laundering scheme for government and military elite. 12 years of zero risk management and blatant fraud and disregard for any law?
I’ve been a consultant, worked at several other large and mid-size banks. People, this isn’t normal.
So sorry to hear about the layoffs. I wish you the best of luck in your job search! Just an FYI, take full advantage of the services offered during your notice period. I was impressed with the help provided, especially with your resume. You probably think you have everything covered, but there is so much more to learn. Get fully involved with your advocate on how to build out a resume in the current environment. I thought I had it covered, but things change every day. I shrugged at talent cards, but I was so wrong. Talent cards are great reminders of your accomplishments, so sell yourself. Reach out to the "my door is always open" people and ask for the help during the initial input. Your management teams should be helping you along the way. And lastly, don't forget to provide ZERO negativity during an interview.
That’s it for this week. It takes some time for Directors to identify roles that need to be eliminated before AVPs can sign off on the layoff.
That should be it this week. I have never seen a day other than Tuesday for layoffs.
So far. The week is still young
