Should people who intend to EOI let the supervisors know now or wait for the announcements?

You don’t have to tell them if you are in a certain “excessive” number of years, you will probably be put in the “EOI” column just for simple rough estimate numbers.
Tell John Watson
Do not indicate any desire to voluntarily leave the company. You could be bypassed for the EOI and then left to rot until you voluntarily leave. Keep 'em guessing, don't even confide in your 'friends' about your intentions. Keep things close to the vest until you know what they're offering.
Do not make decisions on rumors and assumptions. Wait until it’s formal and in writing.
Hollld that. Remember financially chevron said severance payments could extend thru 2026… very likely they drag this sheet out
I’ve got to wonder if at least 1 person puts it into their opening PMP.
Goals:
Deliver results: Sign the EOI form
We Lead: Don’t smile too much while signing the EOI form
LOL
Absolutely do not tell your supervisor. At best he’ll just disengage and blame you for everything. At worst he could look for a way to offload you earlier without the severance.
Corporate hasn’t even revealed the package yet.
There will be a formal announcement by management. I would not do anything until the details are made available.
Certainly wait until SETH .. just my opinion
