D-Day (decision) for Denver/BFD

Relo offers made today then nullified and redistributed.

Wonder how the number compares to JAX folks.
Wonder what they can’t just keep that money and let folks be remote. Or better yet use that money to keep the office open for a few more years to the original lease end date. Or move the Denver folks to a more affordable place in the further south in DTC.

Based on numbers and estimates for who those who received offers versus eliminations/severances… We are talking literal millions of wasted dollars to relocate or layoff people and even more millions to replace those declining relocation with new people who will take months or years to get into speed.

I am disgusted with the pathetically ignorant and incompetent senior leadership at this company.

The few folks I work with and talk to Denver and Jacksonville that already relocated to Frisco, Charlotte, or Chicago have said it has been a nightmare with the whole process especially regarding taxes. Whatever number they offered our associates was not enough evidently.

If I am anyone in Denver still trying to decide before the due date… I would strongly consider not relocating. It just isn’t worth it.

They want to drain you so you leave for another company, before you get to severance. But if you can make it severance is the better option for most though could have some big tax implications as well.

Majority of people I talk to isn’t relocating annd some anrent sure. That or they are keeping it private, probably waiting until the very last day to make it official.

I’m curious to see the percentages of the number offered relocation and the ones who accepted it. But they wont show that data… well maybe if it meets or exceeds their expectations they might.

But the company is so excited for the future. It is hilarious that at the same time these MOUs went out to Denver, the TIAA LinkedIn page posted a bit about the employee experience and how every employee plays a vital role in their mission and “Our people are at the heart of everything we do…” and “ Together, we are building a future where promises pay off, not just for our clients, but for the communities we serve and the associates who make it all possible.”

What a load of bullsh-t.
