CL is out, like some posters below predicted.
Bets on who's going to replace him?

RS is not leaving, he is happy because the organization has been approved and he has a place in it.

No chance CL was moving to Houston, so this is no surprise.

3 of LC’s GMs leaving. People don’t leave companies, they leave managers?

TM's probably going to run ahead of CL and get on his knees to pay the price of getting him hired on where ever he goes.

Don’t think JS can just throw his name in the hat. Doesn’t work that way at that level.

None of the other GMs will resign. Why would they.

CL didn’t leave a lot by leaving since he’s only been here like 10 years. The other GMs have decades of sweet benefits like pensions and LTIPs

Agree it should be JS but they will probably go external. Unbelievable that it has come to this. CL is one of the good ones and actually knows what he’s doing. MN made a huge mistake bringing in LC and I don’t blame CL one bit for not wanting to work for him and for going elsewhere. I wonder which of the IT GMs are next to resign.

JS would be the best choice.... internal or external. Really hope he throws his hat in the ring.

They’re going external 100%
JS was probably next in line but don’t see the ELT giving it to him.

@a5 - TM is the biggest dum--ss in the world. He is not mentally fit to be a CISO let alone even work at CVX. The only reason he was still here is because of CL or hr would have been in the unemployment line much sooner.

TM was already in Houston. He's a good dude though - hope he stays.

I do not know him well but I believe he was a contributor to CVX. He was an outsider and probably saw the writing on the wall because most of the outside hires are never allowed into the "original swamp". He probably knew he was smarter than "the insiders". I wish him the best!
LC stated he had "mixed emotions" about CL leaving which is a bit weird but probably because LC knows he needs CL and cyber security at CVX will experience a setback without a solid leader at the helm.
