IT Forensics by this time already have a lists of people that will be let go since HR have already requested active monitoring of these people (which is a standard OP every layoff), to ensure you're not stealing files to take with you on your next job at another company. Big Brother is always watching.

When will the org charts be released if they are done?

"You won't be applying to jobs, org created and you're placed or not"

That couldn't be more wrong.

IT employees better wish upon their lucky stars their leaders know who they are and how to pick em because LC sure won’t know who you are.

I remember once being left standing a while back and still found a position! Then I survived reorg after reorg! I’m like a cat!

Sounds like there will be org chart and whoever will be left.. will go into the selection process. This time compared to last time looks like all decisions are made up very high level.. so it will be shocker for most people.. how it plays out

@a1, first stage is a cull. Those that are left get to hang on until Engine is ready to replace them…and train them

Where have you been? This is not a cull the herd exercise to layoff the bottom contributors. This is to replace US workers with lower cost employees located in a foreign country. The employee reductions are designed to save hundreds of millions of dollars in labor costs.

Why would they save any leadership spots for a Hess transaction that is likely falling through?

Org charts are done, and teams are coming up with open or closed positions.

Employees will be able to EOI soon. Then leaders are selected. Employees will then have some way to choose jobs of interest to them. Then the leaders will do all of the selections within a few days, less than a week,

It is all individual contributer jobs, they’re saving the leadership spots for Hess

I’ve heard from a reliable source that there will be an application and selection process. Sounds like it’s going to be like 2020, but faster selection meetings.

People know when is their time. Between performance and bad hires from 2020 and now. If you done ok and performed well. Shouldn’t have to worry about it
