I’ve been here 6 years and I can’t take the daily worry anymore of possible RIFs. I’m a single mom with 3 young children. Feels too risky to stay anymore.

Look in your state or states you support. There may be many provider-sponsored plans hiring. Several in Texas have expanded with new contracts.
I am pregnant and was just RIFd from this company. Very disheartening . Following thread as I am also a nurse.
Probably your best bet is 7-11. Terrible hours, frigid temperatures, awful conditions but hey at least no offshoring
Look at start ups in healthcare, I’m a former CDI nurse, I did UM at Anthem. I work for a start up 100% remote doing reviews of charts. The culture is really different but I’m finally adjusted and thriving.
Hospitals. IPA’s/Medical Groups. Home Health Agencies.
Molina and Centene offshore more than Elevance, they even offshore the restricted Medicaid states with creative workarounds.
I am in the know of someone who recently got hired at Centene and is 100% remote. I hope this helps.
Molina does offshore and has just as many RIFs as Anthem/Elevance. You should check out what's posted for them as well asa others like Centene on this site. Any insurance carrier whose primary business is Medicare/Medicaid are being hit with RIFs. Look at companies that have both an insurance side and a hospital side as the UM roles are available on both sides and RIFs are less likely to occur.
I agree with Molina. Also look at start ups… TPA’s are wonderful to work for and usually better benefits. Hummingbird healthcare, in your area review career sections of the local hospitals or even hospital systems nationwide like Community Health Systems with large shared service centers and search by keyword remote..you would be surprised how many UM and claims roles there are looking for nurses to work from home. Cotiviti, CERIS, GE Healthcare, Healthcare Support, CENTENE, R1, ASCENSION, EVOLENT, Zelis, VMG Health, WellSense Health plan, EXL Health (from what I here though salaries are lower here), Solera Health, Clearlink partners, e4 Health, Cardinal Health, Ensemble Health Partners, Accenture. Hope this helps.
I'd honestly be wary of any company like this. Between AI and offshore it's not looking good.
Look at Molina Healthcare. They do not have commercial; only Medicare and Medicaid (hence, very little offshore).
