Black History post showed up today. Maybe the execs read this site.
They kind of missed the first week of events by being late.
Is it a copy & paste of last year?
I'll check with the carrot cake guy. He seemed pretty happy.
Coincidence that they are doing nothing for black history month. Same thing last year. They added staff but it’s all fake marketing b.s. Ask black people at Met how things are going.
For everything that does not directly affect MetLife as an insurance company, they SHOULDN'T have a position one way or the other. But they do.
If they aren't left-leaning, they had me fooled. But you're right, @1ay+1jjvf1rve, about no permanent values. For example, it is Black History Month, and in years past, there were always articles and events about that. This year, I haven't heard a peep.
It makes you wonder, what happened? Did a secret order come down to "cut it out"? My guess is, yes. They don't want to jeopardize any government contracts.
They usually just rubber stamp whatever government policy is dominant, making sure to kiss the emperor's ring in the process. It seems they have no permanent values to speak of, the daily drip of corporate claptrap notwithstanding.
There is no Hispanic network.
Met fired all of its Hispanic network leaders.
They won't cut where it is truly needed and recommended on survey comments. It's been spelled out for them, year after year, employees named, and they insist on throwing money down the drain. Great business model.
Buckle up folks, the cuts are coming.
I fear you speak the truth.
Well now that The General is in his first year at the helm, he's already got several departments in his sights when it comes to cutting back. Buckle up folks, the cuts are coming. Pappy has given the General his marching orders and the first one is cutting costs.
Is this true?
I know who the podcaster is.
Not sure who the new guy is. New gal?
🥳🎉 that would be swell
