Hired Jan 2023. Did not get any match in Feb 2024 since hire date was just shy of full year before match paid out. Laid off Dec 2024. Can I expect a match paid out? I never got any clarity from my worthless manager. Anyone have any thoughts or insight, I appreciate it!

The 3 years vesting is the cash balance pension, not 401k
isnt there a 3 year vesting requirement ?
Don’t forget you are not even eligible for the match for 12 months. The first year they don’t give you a match.
What is 401K? Did it post yet? When does it post? Where does it post?

If you've worked here for 23 months and never got a 401K match, why didn't you follow up with HR?

That policy is starting 2025 and not for 2024 or prior years.

Despite working for the bank for 23 months, I’ve never seen a match hit my account. I’ve checked and now I know it should hit 1/31. If this were like most companies, the match would be added every paycheck so I can earn the interest not the bank. This place is a sh—hole. And you’re one of the reasons it su-ks.

Have you checked your account? Log in and check your transaction history. The answer is no, btw. Every year, 401K match posts by end of Jan. It will post tomorrow, which is the last day of Jan.
