Imagine if you will: A business where a government mandates you have to buy a product, that same government contracts a company to manage that product, and then that company outsources the support of said product offshore to other countries. Sending the money for the product your forced to buy off-shore. So it's been mandated that the citizens money go off-shore, by the Government. Is that fleecing of citizens money by law?

Retired EH Regulatory Compliance Exec aka the Whistleblower here. There is a formal onshore / offshore contracting list held within the Operations front office (M.W. if they haven't RIFd the poor lady). All active markets have contracts and market specific appendices that detail each states operations requirements detailing where and how work should be done, additionally those MSAs embed policies and procedures from all business units. Plan President's and EH C-Suite opted to ignore government and non government contractual regulations thus regulatory governance and oversight has been thrown out the window at EH. Most of the state and county government accounts specify that member facing people be onshore or in state as they’re politically under the microscope. As we’ve moved more to offshore, we’ve lost some of these accounts to other carriers that can/will stick with the contract agreements. We’ve fallen down the stairs and can’t get up.
There use to be companies that demanded there account stayed onshore. Wouldn't it be nice if every company did that? Heck now even the house account claims are processed offshore.
So embarrassing of this company to thousands of American workers for offshore people in the Philippines in India. Word is case management and utilization management will be getting short to the Philippines under Carelon global solutions

Ask for the offshore restrictions list /Market Contracts ..... Your Operations folks can point you to them. EH has been doing business illegally with government funds since 2020 sending work offshore. Don't forget you aren't just an employee, your health benefits are more than likely administered by this zombie corporation. Have a wonderful day and remember do the right thing.
