Good luck! Just get an email the night before saying there is a meeting in the morning. No discussion, no individual meeting, no heads up...just a group deliverance to all of us that just unexpectedly became unemployed, that our jobs we work long hours at don't exists anymore. They read from "the" prepared script...about work reductions. Told us all it's not reflection on our performance as we just had annual performance reviews.... this only done after the HR rep pops on after the meetings start time (oh, HR was not in the invite list... sneaky). I always thought if your being sneaky, you know it's wrong. Just another knee je-k reaction? Why my position, why not the one above or under me? hmmmm

They did me that way too. HR pops in with camera on just after the meeting starts, and you say HI to your manager.
I hate when you all post the layoff and then don’t share the department. Come here to help others by warning therm or shut up and get a personal diary.

I was caught up in the Oct 2023 RIFs, same story. Meeting and bo-m HR hops on. I am here to tell you that you will come to realize they have done you a huge favor. I’m so much better off and in a company that cares about me and appreciates the work I, along with my team, do.
