Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

Goals and Morale

I am contemplating if this is going to affect morale and work ethics! Why would you want to put forth a concerted effort to complete tasks and meet objectives when the company doesn’t appreciate all the time, effort and years you put into the position? No voluntary separation, bad employee reviews and positive endeavors to look forward too.

Put it this way, the company is fu---d. The current new offering is Technically sound, however it was industrialized and placed into service by a bunch of half wits. Prediction is Pratt will be spun off from RTX as I just dont see it fitting into the RTX business model. The product cycle is just not the same as Legacy Raytheon or Collins/UTAS/Hamilton.

As a newer employee I now understand why the majority are so punctual in arriving and leaving. Rarely see an urgent gear.
