Just curious who else at the VP and President levels was impacted by the re-org?

Curious to see if gurus other picks will stick around or get cut too like TR and MH
Nathan Krishna CIO or whatever left/got cut.
Tara Sharp Chief marketing left/got cut.
I just can't see Girish leading the hyper sensitive engineer team. I'm sure he is a brilliant engineer, but he just doesn't seem like he has the passion to inspire the team.
Pretty much par for the course. Viasat's ability to manage talent is virtually non-existent.
Was that Dank's brother?
That would be the case with any of them- don't add much value
The L2 in charge of IT has left.
No one in IT has noticed.
Not much to be excited about. They're heavily invested into a bad trajectory. Success looks like not collapsing.
Ya, above the strong hostage video energy from their frowns, Girish had that notable "but I'm a Brahmin, I don't like mixing with the Dalits" energy
Yeah, I couldn’t tell if GC was nervous or just lack of enthusiasm about the new role. He didn’t come across as someone eager for the new job during the all hands
GC looked as if he had been handed a sh*t sandwich as he seemed to be thinking "I had fun dipping into technologies with no requirement to deliver...but now I'm responsible for a huge organisation and it's output". His visible lack of energy doesn't convince me that he can lead as opposed to manage. It just demonstrates that the Peter principle continues to be alive and well in Viasat.
You can tell he doesn’t know what’s going on, because he kept deferring to CM to answer questions during the all hands.
To the OP's original question, no others were affected. The sacred cows remain, carry on.
It's a byproduct of rewarding people for how they do their job instead of what they get done.
Girish is a poster child for when one's perception of their competence far exceeds their objective level of competence. He struggles with this sh-t. I'm gonna enjoy watching him flail and damage progress, then when he's done cratering GSN, Mark will move him on to new pastures to wreck. Mark surrounds himself with the incapable or the pliant.
This is a bad call - Girish is another ivory tower professor personality, not a businessperson, "Girish Chandran, currently Chief Technology Officer, will take on additional responsibilities as President of Global Space Networks. Girish brings over 25 years of experience in satellite systems and technology to lead our Global Space Networks organization."
