Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Grade Levels (VP and SVP)

It seems there is a lot of transparency and information available regarding grade levels, salary ranges, officer titles, etc.

Is the below accurate:
VP Level 16-17 ?

SVP Level 18+ ?

What is the process to get promoted to SVP level… does this need to be reviewed and approved by the board?

NOPE! As of TODAY,
11, 12 = officer
13, 14, 15 = avp
16, 17 = vp
18 and up = svp

These happen automatically, I think once a month.

If you had a title before ~4 years ago ( I forget when the change happened) then you keep it. For example if you got VP at 14 or 15, you did not lose it. It carried over. But anyone NEW to 15, VP title DENIED!

VP used to be 14-16, SVP at 17, but I think within like the last year or two they shifted up a grade.

I recall seeing a chart at one time, but haven't seen it in a while. I believe there was some backlash on the original one starting a VP title at Grade 16.

Exude confidence shamelessly while talking about things you have zero idea about. Build a vocabulary of all the buzzwords to sprinkle them in your conversations to sound smart. Be able to discard any guilt or knowledge your instincts tell you about everyone knowing you are faking it. Act rushed and busy. Schedule a cr-p ton of calls back to back so you always look busy. Be a wizard (at psychopathic levels) in political play. Most importantly, never be around when a problem occurs but always show up during resolution time to take credit.

Huge lips and a very long, brown nose. When you speak, the only thing that comes out is an enthusiastic "yes sir/mam, another excellent idea. You are not only brilliant but gorgeous too".
