Other than track what the BUs are doing what does GVCS do? The reorg had better absorb or shrink this team. So many people on that team, but what do they deliver??

Global Value Chain Strategy provide critical services including taking specifications from customers and taking them down to the software engineers - because they have the people skills to do so.

They specialize in trying to get in the middle, not adding value and not letting the BUs work. They ask for same information that is being provided to other corporate groups...then take the Wins and repackage them in nice powerpoints to represent them as something that they have led. I had no idea that they were such a large group. Seriously, What do they do? Check the checkers?
What is GVCS? Never even heard of it before.
