If I don’t get the biggest bonus of my career I am suing everyone

I could see it being low. At a previous job, I gave my notice just before bonuses were released. Despite the facts that the bonus performance window was over, I had an excellent year, and even stayed on beyond 2 weeks to wrap up important projects, they absolutely fu---d me on $ (giving me 1/5 my typical amount). Why invest in people leaving? Since 20% of the company is being removed, it’s a plus EV move to reduce bonuses, thus not compensating in departing employees. It’s the soulless thing to do, but hey, no oil company does the right thing when it can get away with the wrong thing

It’s a one year subscription to the jelly of the month club.

My guess is that CIP will be lowered but MW will get another year of massive compensation increases. They allowed this under educated mo--n work past his prime and he’s driving this company into the ground.

I've heard from a good source that it will be 3.0

And if it is less than that then it's time to Jan 6

  • 75 or lower would result in a class action lawsuit. Bear in mind the board has setup objective criteria for the CF.

Most of thinking this could be their last CIP, and it may need to go as far as possible once the layoff kicks in. Executives are thinking that although this is regarded as a performance bonus, it is technically a retention incentive, and well we do not need to be incentivizing nobody right now to stay. 0.8 my guess. Next year will be 1.4, to re-motivate the selected.

Why bother asking this question? As you can see by the wide variety of guesses, nobody has a clue.
Make your own guess based on what you think will happen.

Wish DJT wasn't such a capitalist and some of the more liberal folks that have hitched on to his wagon could talk some sense of into him. Stop all of the big investment firms from bleeding America dry and the PE firms destroying America brands for short gain. He's crazy enough.

If it really is .7 than it is clear CVX is gone and is a full short term monetization mode. Milking as much as fast as they can. Which is really sad considering CVX has been a prized dividend stock that people can count on. They are trading buybacks and short term gains now for all the future dividends. Shame on them.

I'm betting less than 1. Every presentation from MW and EB has highlighted all the places we're 'yellow' or 'red'. They're prepping us.

Between 0.9 and 1.05, to reflect the good work that was done, without forgetting about the upcoming reorg

It’ll be 1. Anything below will crater morale further, particularly amongst the proletarian class. Anything above raises eyebrows about layoffs.
