Changing jobs AIP payout?

I moved over to a new position in late 2024. My old position included AIP but my new one does not. Do I still get paid out AIP for my efforts in 2024?

In most instances you forfeit it. There are business units with both AIP and QIP under a manager so if you have QIP the pot is not big for managers for AIP so it’s discretion if there is enough to give additional to someone who transferred in from an AIP role. Managers and directors don’t even know what the team member transferred in from as far as a bonus. They just can see for some instances that the team member is on their list for both QIP and AIP so with these small pots trying to be fare you wouldn’t give AIP to someone getting QIP since that employee is eligible 4 times a year and the salaries are not far apart.

I think that if you moved in the 4th quarter of 2024 you are entitled to a portion of the AIP earned from your old position. It should be a standard policy, so check with HR to ask about the policy.
