What did you think for those who went? BB’s poem - did he think it was funny? It was actually kind of lame, especially the part about how he became upstream CIO and knew nothing about upstream. CP’s very public challenging of resetting culture and imploring the audience to keep the Chevron culture was… interesting, and speaks volumes about why he’s retiring AW was OK but maybe forgettable because I don’t recall what he said exactly NH saying he’s not done and will do something else. These hints definitely show that they were pushed out, maybe unwillingly. He’s still the most motivating of them all, compared to what our current ELT looks like RM - the audience shrunk when it was her turn. It’s a new era at Chevron…

I didn’t go to either because I have a job. When our biggest celebrations are the retirement carousel; that tells you where we’re heading

Why would anyone waste time going to that?

Uh try AT LEAST $5M with 5 executives. Each of them make over $1.5M just on salary+bonus+LTIP alone, plus whatever executive perks they get annually.

Right there may be an over $1 million in savings for CVX. That's a good start. Keep going from top please.

The only entertaining thing about these back-slapping events is that the principals usually let their guard down and tell you how unqualified they were for their jobs, and how they milked foreign assignments, how they hated the countries they had to work in, and how they cheated on their expense accounts. Hardly role-modeling events.

Chevron is full of people who are from positions they have barely began to learn and placed in positions they know nothing about.

Why would I entertain that bs at a state like this. Good riddance.
