Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Stock manipulation?

How do they do it? They finally matched this year when the price hit a 3 week high so we got fewer shares. The very next day the stock drops 1.75% so we had no chance to get out right away with our full match. Considering who we are dealing with it's hard to believe this is just a coincidence.

The nonsense is not loss of compounded dividends throughout the year by withholding the match to Jan the following year, but the loss of all company match and associated compounded dividends if you resign or get RIF'ed before Dec-16

Also less dividend payments to the 401ks throughout the previous year with the match all at once & less dividend payments going forward by waiting until the stock price spiked to match with fewer shares.

I expect Q4 earnings to be brutal, but there might be an opportunity to move your HW shares to something else, if there's a bump in stock price after the split is announced.

It seems to work that way all of the 9 years that I've been here. Price high at distribution and then immediately drops. Stays down for a significant time.

I doubt they have the resources to be that sophisticated to manipulate 401k date.2% could also just be market noise. the nonsense is the one time match not allowing for compounding
