Get rid of MARC too. It’s DEI rebranded in word salad.

“I think the country is fracturing” would be a more accurate statement

It's not just Chevron, but the whole country or earth has been through these non-sense pains. Yes, some companies got away more since they did not need to deal with complex politics like Chevron did. Luckily we got 4/8 years to breathe. Bad economics caused by brainless political forces, and now it's AI, no company can avoid. Engine is just transitioning. But stay with confidence if you are a competitive contributer, or look for new paths to flourish... the cost for learning/training is covered. If you checked out the comments on other companies or competitors like Exxon, which probably have never had something like Chevron way, you will see the difference... too much (or then lesser) humanity vs no humanity concerned nor displayed... months of preparation with flaws vs you receive a dismissal email overnight.🙏

Couldn't agree more. Posts and comments like the others here make me sick. Ready to get off this sinking ship.

It's garbage posts and responses like this one that can't get me more excited to take that EOI. Accelerating the decline of a once proud company by having many talented folks such as myself rushing for the door. It's been a good 20 years, but this nonsense is too much to take.

RM leaving was the first step in Chevron exiting DEI.

Chevron never "exits" a social engineering experiment, they just let it die a slow death. Look at MARC and ALLY. Expect the same for DEI. The bad news is that those promoted during DEI will continue to "advance".

There is a link in a post below to send screenshots, emails, etc to Robby Starbuck, He is the one behind this push. Let’s turn up the heat on CVX and watch the board squirm

Chevron does some very important things in terms of giving opportunities to highly capable students who have not necessarily had the grooming and mentoring opportunities others have. We have taken chances on these promising students through internships and found some strong performers and future leaders. We learned a little bit about how to compare different types of work experiences to traditional internship experiences. This should continue. But the practice of placing people in leadership positions exclusively because of their skin color has been a disaster.
