Project Stargate and Open AI (please no political comments)

Hi,

I just saw an interview with the Microsoft CEO about the 500 billon dollar Stargate AI project. Then I read an article that certain fields like Healthcare (hippa) and anything related to US safety and security can’t be outsourced, which I would assume would be a (x) portion of Stargate. I also assume that project would need to hire a large amount of employees, what’s some realistic skills sets I could obtain now to prepare myself for a shot at one of those jobs? I know I’m vague but I really don’t want to give too much away on this board, but I’m pretty good with data stuff and project management.

Any detailed steps would be appreciated, even if it’s educated guesses on what you think Stargate would need.

Lady next to me isn't the brightest but she has figured out how to prompt copilot and actually has much improved her productivity and mine as well since she is asking me less questions. They have come up with some cringe worthy mistakes but that little increases in productivity add up.

I can see why people have doubts about AI, however after I sat in a friend’s Tesla, with the latest full self drive and the car literally drove itself from point A to point B (about 100+ miles) without any human intervention, I am a convert. No one thought that would’ve been possible even as little as a few years ago.

If Stargate is taken seriously, I think it’ll be the next evolution for military defense, Homeland Security, local operation management, banking, space exploration, construction and et cetera. And even if it’s not that far reaching, 500 billion goes along way for jobs and such.

AI is 95% hype/5% reality being driven by CEOs pursuing some kind of 100x profit multiplier that they will never achieve. There is no viable product, no true value add, it's ki-ling a rainforest every time to generate trash, it is all going to collapse within a year and it's amazing it hasn't ALREADY. I am not some boomer putting my head in the same pretending that my job won't be at risk someday, but anyone who actually says in the next 5 years it will have a real and measurable impact is just drunk on the tech industry koolaid.

Software Engineering is dead as a Junior. I will try to stay in the energy industry but more toward the power / electricity business.https://www.wsj.com/business/energy-oil/oil-majors-flirt-with-electricity-0d1df707

What specific software skills?

And what other skills would they need beyond SE? I don’t have any of that unfortunately. Any specific certifications I could start grinding on right now?
