Honeywell aerospace employee no value

Supplier readiness selfish management of long-term employees just wanted us to teach new out of school and contract people our knowledge and then find any reason to fire you. After 14 years 4 times Engineer of year and block 1, put you on pipe, you meet pip,get off pip, then just before 2024 hpd review which you meet and beyond the goals, they call you in a teams meeting with HR blood skng, and fire you with unjust reasons

Any engineer with knowledge and ability needs to get out of there and work for a company that understands your value, where your direct manager knows what they are doing and they determine your fate instead of some HR or upper management flunky.
I would have liked someone tell me this before having to endure a similar situation.

no value? dude you are a salary with a negative sign in execs eyes. necessary maybe.. begrudgingly but certainly not a zero...you are and expense they hooope to shed.

Getting PIP'd means you are a target come RIF time. Could be a year or two or three years later. If you've been PIP'd, leave ASAP. Getting off the PIP means nothing.
