Severance isn’t guaranteed. Just because people got in the past doesn’t mean the next round will. Can’t bank on it.
Best of both worlds. Line up the dream job which takes time. By then hopefully, the severance will be offered and you can get both. Several of my peers were able to do that last layoff. Most importantly, stick around for the bonus.
It's always better to wait for severance or at least until after bonuses.
We’ve been hiring people back for the past few months. Fiber posting sales jobs isn’t new
Sale is still happening. It’s stalled because Crown wants too much $$$$$ so they need to accept the lower offer to get rid of fiber.
Employees are still getting laid off at random. Some who got notified in the last few months. Employees also leaving for other companies all over the country.
Is it better to stay and wait for a severance package or jump ship asap?
