AIP Bonuses and Merit Increases

I heard through the grapevine our merit and bonuses are embarrassingly inadequate this year. Anyone out there have intel they can share?

Honestly some bonus is better than getting RIF'd. It is difficult out there right now. Thousands of applicants going for 1 job.

How about Gail take 1 million less in bonus. That would probably provide enough to not have to reduce anybodies bonus.

So Gail and team will only get 35% of what they got last year?

Why set goals when it clearly doesn't help anything? 1 to 2% increase and no additional $$ in AIP if your manager have favorites.

What a shame, especially for all of those associates that actually work their tails off and put forth the strong efforts. Nothing like getting crapped on for your efforts.

This goes along with the "do more for less" mantra.

Just announced that incentives will be lower. Are the incentive percentages guaranteed at least?

Don't you love how they blame this on managers, as if they have discretion to give you more? In order to give one person more, they must sc--w over another person.
