I spotted this in a CRE deck for a “Working Together Ops” mtg I missed yesterday. Something about the option for employees to access premium cubicle seating through payroll deductions, and that it could be a new income stream for the bank. Did anyone attend the call, are they for real??

Are the PAY TO PARK places being paid to the various cities? Or is the bank collecting money and keeping it? I don't see that happening. Please only answer if you know what the he-l you are talking about. Too many clueless, low information, people here just throwing cr-p out here thinking they know how things work.
I literally made this offer to my manager 15 years ago while I sat in a six foot cube wall. I was going loco feeling like a caged animal. I told him you can zero out my merit increase if you move me one over to a desk with a window. He was nice though and I ended up getting both.
With today's open floor plans this is sort of moot now.
"People are complaining about $57/mo parking? In Dtn LA it's $365/mo."
$365/month is insane, but the point is when a lot of us were hired to be remote employees and the bank pulled a switch up, any of these extra costs is an extra kick in the shin.
Also keep in mind CA employees are paid more due to geographic location than AZ employees. Not saying that expense isn't significantly more for CA, but still.

Downtown St. Louis is anywhere from $110-$145 per month or $1 per 20 mins, $20 daily max. All garages within a decent distance are full and the waiting lists are long.
Paid parking at Tempe, AZ hub. $57/month for a parking pass, or $15 daily rate. Ridiculous.
No it’s not Columbia center. Free parking there. That won’t change. Try again, troll
Pay to park is a legit hot topic in the STL Missouri HUB area.
Employees are being shifted from Earth City (free parking) and Olivette (site closing) to Downtown STL and Clayton (both pay to park).
Discussions are still ongoing regarding gating and converting both Earth City buildings to pay to park. It’s a simple process and only requires an amendment to the lease agreement.
I'm getting a 20% deduction, BUT I've got the equivalent of "Business Class" seating and a corporate H-R to take care of my other needs.
LOL that’s hilarious but not too far off track. The parking thing is real, that’s probably Columbia Center they are talking about. Free parking is a thing of the past
I know this is just a troll post, but the executive leadership might see the post and put this in an action plan.
At this point, people are just making up and posting random bullsh-t on this site. Just complete 100% TROLL posts.
Absolute BS
I just upgraded to a window desk.
This has to be fake, but I can't wait to say "I just upgraded my cube to Comfort Plus!" LOL
No one at the bank is talking about converting free parking to paid parking, go take a nap. The bank doesn't own or control 99% of the properties/offices it operates in and couldn't influence such a stupid idea.
You could walk a mile and save $200?
I sort of believe it. I was on a HUB call about 6 months ago and the topic of converting “free” parking to “pay to park” at certain HUB locations was discussed to make things more equitable.
There are several HUB and Client Center locations where one building is free to park, and another building a mile away requires public parking costing upwards of $200 a month.
Hey OP: Sit down clown-troll.
This is absolute BS, quit spreading baseless rumors
It is hard to believe this is true but at this point anything is possible.
In this context, does CRE mean Corporate Real Estate or Commercial Real Estate?
One is a line of business and the other is internal operations.
Seems like made up BS but then again I do have to pay for parking here.
Wow, this is diabolical! Forcing employees to pay for seating in order to do their jobs. This company is approaching cartoon levels of villainy.
This sounds like absolute BS.
