This “latest” round is just the tip of the iceberg. The telecom Titanic will hit soon. People of higher ranks are being told to lie to their employees with the protection of an NDA. The life preservers are dwindling away. They are stripping teams one by one. It is only a matter of time before the pocket lined executives shut off the lights before heading to their Miami yacht. They will laugh and drink champagne as the ship sinks into darkness.

I am so glad I left this dumpster fire of a company. It is run by people who are either criminals or criminally incompetent. I wish those soulless greedy execs nothing but misfortune.
Not its not you computer dum--ss, But you can reformat the drive a few times to prevent any recovery on top of a few dozen other ways to prevent obtaining the work created by those being let go. Must be a manager writing this response and an angry fearful one at that!
it's not your computer, dum--ss, you have to ship it back if you get canned and someone else will just upload them. what leverage is that over the people makign the decision to fire you? fu--ing 0
Don't forget to save all work on your work on your local drive only. It provides some leverage against layoff. If they whine tell them One Drive just wont work right
Oh the NDA. WS loves those. When all this started about 5 or 6 years ago they had people sign NDAs and sent them to India and Mexico to train the NOC replacement. Leadership lied of course about where they were and whar they were doing. Don't get tricked into documenting everything for your job under the disguise of having a shared resource for your coworkers. It's just educational resources for your replacements. Fix your resume and find a new job. Learn a skill there is a much better and happier life outside of WS.
It was doomed the moment Elliot got involved. I fully expect the merge to happen, then the combined company to be sold to Zayo or Lumos by year end. By that time it will be just an asset sale. If you're keeping up. Start applying to prospective buyers now.. both Lumos and Zayo have been picking up released engineers for a while. So my money is on one of those two buying up the scraps in the end.
