Dear Chevron management: why are you requiring days in the office this week in Houston?
HRCMC asked people to work from home due to Snow and the amazing Chevron leadership teams are asking people to come in and do their required days. wtf

Some of those folks in the field get paid way more than many office people. Those in the hazardous areas get even more pay. They also get half the year off and when off they don’t worry about calls or working on the weekend. They choose to work in the field. I have a different job that has me in the office. What you say is disingenuous.
You work for an oil company that requires (lesser paid) staff to work the fields in 120 degree sun, -50 degree cold, torrential rain, 200 miles offshore, 10k miles away from family, in malaria and war zones.
You can manage to start your land cruiser. Turn on the heated seats. And drive the 25 minutes to your heated office. You will survive.
I plan on working in the office on Sat and Sunday
I’d be damned
I mean it’ll be 52 and sunny tomorrow…be thankful we didn’t go in today as it’s 47 outside….
can confirm some finance groups were asked to meet their required days this week
Inaccurate. Someone needs a fact check button. False statement.
Just get to work already. We should have offloaded scores more in 2020.
who was asked to go to the office?? not my team.
Troll
just found out today we need to meet our days (Thursday and Friday in the office) yipeeee
“We don’t believe you. You need more people.”
