What happened to LC’s IT Advisors?

When LC (new CIO) came on, he brought with him 2 “IT Advisors” from his previous company. Now one is gone with no explanation. What happened? Somebody spill the gossip!

Ya I’m not sure what the IT program managers really do. We got digital advisors in AD and Ops, too. They seem to be big overlap with these IT program managers - all doing useless things in coordinating with platforms and getting everything in that “backlog” that never gets worked

A couple already said who cares

It doesn’t matter who the leader is if he doesn’t fix the sh!t that is data program managers in the BUs and platforms. It’s just a bunch of middlemen who refuse to do actual work. Like business analysis work and business engagement is below them, and all their work is just documenting ADO and sitting in meetings.

Thank god the design is going to eliminate a bunch of that agile nonsense. And thank god the people doing the data org design all have had technical backgrounds and see the incredible bloat that their predecessors have put in this company’s IT department for years.

Start looking for a new job if you’re a useless program manager either in a BU or a platform and can’t explain how a well is drilled. Or if you do know, but you keep pawning off your own damn job to developers then what are you really doing here

Rumor is that MC is going to be asked to stay another 3 years

One advisor was flashy, talked too much, and got fired. The other guy keeps quiet, no idea if he’s any good because no one outside of MA even knows him. He stays because he keeps his mouth shut. I think there is a proverb that describes those 2 perfectly.

The question everybody in the data and insights community is who is replacing him.

He will long be forgotten when the sh1t goes down in a couple of months

Oh this is the creep who put “Chevron Executive” as his job title and misrepresented himself as an agent of Chevron when he was merely an overpaid contractor who did nothing of value for 2-3 months
