Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Are we really safe until April?

A lot of gossip about layoffs being over until Q2. Any information to the contrary? It would be nice to have some time to focus on other things, like searching for another job, instead of worrying daily about losing this one.

"It’s business as usual. Every month, staff is cut somewhere. Nobody is 100% “safe.” Like any at-will employment, you can get laid off and you can quit.

This forum would be more helpful if people exchanged information about specific departments."

It's always funny when C-Suite execs post on here, isn't it @mj+1jj29xzkn?

"...more helpful if people exchanged information about specific departments."

Right, and then maybe they could include their names and office location as well? That would make eliminating the trouble makers a lot easier, wouldn't it @mj+1jj29xzkn?

Don't forget to thrust your right hand upwards in the corporate salute ala Fuhrer Musk.

"No we aren't safe..Outsourcing to India continues!!!!!!"

Outsourcing? It is offshoring and eventually leading to setting up shop overseas for FTEs.

If it’s the same as last year, nothing is “safe”.
Personally know people who were cut or notified of being cut from every month last year.
GK is strictly all metrics regarding hourly non revenue earning employees. Which is why many have been merged together.
